Digital Art by Rob Buchanan

Rob Buchanan creates and produces his works from idea to finished product completely in house at his studio workshop in Newquay Cornwall. His working career started as an apprentice photographic printer and darkroom assistant in Manchester, And later as an assistant photographer with Carlton studios. Upon moving to Cornwall in the mid seventies he achived early success as a fine art photographer despite the prejudice and lack of acceptance of the medium at the time. The Ilford Cibachrome process provided a timely and then cutting edge method of delivering work. After a decade pursuing other business interests the immense opportunity of digital imaging saw a return to creation. His work is currently represented at The Gallery, central sq, Newquay and Karensa art in Padstow. Most notable exhibition was at the National Theater, South Bank, London as an award winner in the Sunday times/AA  UK Landscape photography contest.
